The fraternity agreement signed in 2014 between Alanya Municipality and Murmansk, the sister city of Alanya in Russia, was renewed.
The Murmansk delegation, which was in Alanya for the 17th Alanya International Tourism and Art Festival, renewed the fraternity agreement with a ceremony held in the Municipal Council Chamber. The area of cooperation was expanded by adding new articles to the agreement. Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel and Murmansk Mayor Dmitry Philippov, Deputy Mayor Mr. Vitaliy Kriillov attended the signing ceremony.
NEW ITEMS ADDED TO STRENGTHEN BROTHERHOOD RELATIONS
New articles were added to the fraternity agreement, which was initiated in 2014 in the fields of promotion, trade, education, municipality and social projects. Both municipalities decided to work more effectively by adding sports, culture and tourism articles to their contracts.

Reminding that Alanya Municipality has 23 sister cities, Mayor Adem Murat Yücel said, “We want to strengthen and consolidate our relations with our sister cities in the fields of social, cultural, tourism, sports, education, trade and promotion. We renewed our fraternity agreement to strengthen our cooperation with our sister city Murmansk from the Russian Federation,” he said.
After the signatures, Mayor Yücel shook hands with Murmansk Deputy Mayor Vitaliy Kriillov and wished them good luck for the two cities.
