Antalya State Opera and Ballet will perform the ballet ‘The Nutcracker’ on Thursday, January 19 at 20:00 at the Haşim İşcan Cultural Center.
The libretto and choreography of the piece by Armağan Davran and Volkan Ersoy will be directed by Hakan Kalkan, the Antalya DOB orchestra. The decor design of the work, which is the last ballet composed by Tchaikovsky, is by Gürcan Kubilay, the costume design is by Aydan Çınar, and the lighting design is by Mustafa Eski. In the performance of the piece on January 19, Yağızhan Danış will play the role of ‘Nutcracker’, Chisato Ishikawa as ‘Clara’, Milina Fidan Özbek as ‘Sugar Fairy’ and Evren İskender as ‘Drosselmeyer’.
Tickets for the work, whose prices vary between 40, 85 and 120 TL, can be obtained from the Haşim İşcan Cultural Center and the opera booths in Cumhuriyet Square, as well as from the internet address www.biletinial.com.
