We started work quickly. The accommodation of our earthquake victims in hotels and dormitories and their needs will be carried out from our coordination center,” he said.
“APPLICATIONS WILL BE MADE THROUGH THE GOVERNORSHIP AND AFAD”
President Yücel: “Our citizens who have not set out from the earthquake region will apply to the district governorship to which they are affiliated, and the earthquake victims sent to our Alanya by the district governorships or AFAD directorates will be accommodated in hotels after their work and procedures are accepted. Please direct our earthquake victims who are on their way to Alanya and to Alanya Municipality Tosmur Additional Service Building. Our crisis desk will immediately place our earthquake victims in hotels, dormitories or hostels.”

Stating that 30 thousand earthquake victims from the earthquake zone will be accommodated in hotels, dormitories and hostels in Alanya at the first stage, President Yücel said, “Our Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu was here yesterday. We talked about accommodation and AFAD’s transfer of earthquake survivors in Malatya, Diyarbakır and Kahramanmaraş. With the cooperation of our district governorship and ALTID, we were organized to host 30 thousand people here. We started to place our earthquake victims sent by AFAD here. Since Alanya receives immigration from 81 provinces, we are in contact with our fellow countryman associations. We are negotiating about opening shelters in their own homes. Our President also announced today from Kahramanmaraş, that they will accommodate the earthquake victims in the region in Antalya, Alanya and Mersin. We started the work by establishing a coordination team with the emergency meeting we held in the morning. We will do our best in this process. As public institutions and organizations, chambers, associations, local administrations and our beloved nation, we will try to heal the wounds.”
THANKS FROM THE PRESIDENT YÜCEL TO TOURISMERS
President Yücel, who also thanked the hotel and hostel operators of Alanya who opened their doors for the earthquake-stricken citizens and mobilized all their opportunities, said, “Our beloved nation has managed to overcome every difficulty with unity and solidarity. One of its finest examples is on display today. Although most of our facilities were closed, they immediately organized and opened their doors, reached the level of service and welcomed the earthquake victims. May God be pleased with all those who work in our aid tent and hoteliers who work hard to help them briefly. I would like to thank all the people of Alanya and our tradesmen.”
