“Les Misérables”, on which Victor Hugo worked for 14 years and conveying the clinging of the people to life in 18th century France, is described as one of the most important literary works of the world and a masterpiece of France, transcending ages and geographies. “Les Miserables”, which has been the subject of films, musicals and theater plays until today, is carried to the stages of Atatürk Cultural Center by the actors of the Ankara State Theater.
The play, which will be staged in 2 acts at the AKM Theater Hall on January 19, 20 and 21, presents the story of justice and love, pain and hope, yesterday and today in the universal story of man.
