The example of Turkey left its mark on the first day of the Eastern Economic Forum, one of the three most important economic forums in Russia. Speaking at the panel on “Tourism Hospitality in the New Era” held within the framework of the Forum, where Turkey and Alanya were represented for the first time by ALTSO Women Entrepreneurs Commission Deputy Chairman Anastasia Petrova Çetinkaya, Russian Tourism Industry Federation President Andrey Ignatiev spoke highly of Turkey in his speech. In his speech, Ignatev said, “Turkey is a very successful country, especially in marketing. It advertises with a budget of only 30 million dollars every year, but only generates 7 billion dollars from Russian tourists. This is a very good example for us. As the Russian Federation, we only earn 1 billion dollars. We can take Turkey as an example,” he said.
